CVE-2018-20594 Medium 2018-12-30 No exploit published No public exploit An issue was discovered in hsweb 3.0.4. It is a reflected XSS vulnerability due to the absence of type parameter checking in FlowableModelManagerController.java.
CVE-2018-17197 Medium 2018-12-24 No exploit published No public exploit A carefully crafted or corrupt sqlite file can cause an infinite loop in Apache Tika's SQLite3Parser in versions 1.8-1.19.1 of Apache Tika.
CVE-2018-17244 Medium 2018-12-20 No exploit published No public exploit Elasticsearch Security versions 6.4.0 to 6.4.2 contain an error in the way request headers are applied to requests when using the Active Directory, LDAP, Native, or File realms. A request may receive headers intended for another request if the same username is being authenticated concurrently; when used with run as, this can result in the request running as the incorrect user. This could allow a user to access information that they should not have access to.
CVE-2018-1000854 Critical 2018-12-20 No exploit published No public exploit esigate.org esigate version 5.2 and earlier contains a CWE-74: Improper Neutralization of Special Elements in Output Used by a Downstream Component ('Injection') vulnerability in ESI directive with user specified XSLT that can result in Remote Code Execution. This attack appear to be exploitable via Use of another weakness in backend application to reflect ESI directives. This vulnerability appears to have been fixed in 5.3.
CVE-2018-17195 High 2018-12-19 No exploit published No public exploit The template upload API endpoint accepted requests from different domain when sent in conjunction with ARP spoofing + man in the middle (MiTM) attack, resulting in a CSRF attack. The required attack vector is complex, requiring a scenario with client certificate authentication, same subnet access, and injecting malicious code into an unprotected (plaintext HTTP) website which the targeted user later visits, but the possible damage warranted a Severe severity level. Mitigation: The fix to apply Cross-Origin Resource Sharing (CORS) policy request filtering was applied on the Apache NiFi 1.8.0 release. Users running a prior 1.x release should upgrade to the appropriate release.
CVE-2018-17194 High 2018-12-19 No exploit published No public exploit When a client request to a cluster node was replicated to other nodes in the cluster for verification, the Content-Length was forwarded. On a DELETE request, the body was ignored, but if the initial request had a Content-Length value other than 0, the receiving nodes would wait for the body and eventually timeout. Mitigation: The fix to check DELETE requests and overwrite non-zero Content-Length header values was applied on the Apache NiFi 1.8.0 release. Users running a prior 1.x release should upgrade to the appropriate release.
CVE-2018-17193 Medium 2018-12-19 No exploit published No public exploit The message-page.jsp error page used the value of the HTTP request header X-ProxyContextPath without sanitization, resulting in a reflected XSS attack. Mitigation: The fix to correctly parse and sanitize the request attribute value was applied on the Apache NiFi 1.8.0 release. Users running a prior 1.x release should upgrade to the appropriate release.
CVE-2018-17192 Medium 2018-12-19 No exploit published No public exploit The X-Frame-Options headers were applied inconsistently on some HTTP responses, resulting in duplicate or missing security headers. Some browsers would interpret these results incorrectly, allowing clickjacking attacks. Mitigation: The fix to consistently apply the security headers was applied on the Apache NiFi 1.8.0 release. Users running a prior 1.x release should upgrade to the appropriate release.
CVE-2018-11799 Medium 2018-12-19 No exploit published No public exploit Vulnerability allows a user of Apache Oozie 3.1.3-incubating to 5.0.0 to impersonate other users. The malicious user can construct an XML that results workflows running in other user's name.
CVE-2018-19413 Medium 2018-12-14 No exploit published No public exploit A vulnerability in the API of SonarSource SonarQube before 7.4 could allow an authenticated user to discover sensitive information such as valid user-account logins in the web application. The vulnerability occurs because of improperly configured access controls that cause the API to return the externalIdentity field to non-administrator users. The attacker could use this information in subsequent attacks against the system.
CVE-2018-1000866 High 2018-12-10 No exploit published No public exploit A sandbox bypass vulnerability exists in Pipeline: Groovy Plugin 2.59 and earlier in groovy-sandbox/src/main/java/org/kohsuke/groovy/sandbox/SandboxTransformer.java, groovy-cps/lib/src/main/java/com/cloudbees/groovy/cps/SandboxCpsTransformer.java that allows attackers with Job/Configure permission, or unauthorized attackers with SCM commit privileges and corresponding pipelines based on Jenkinsfiles set up in Jenkins, to execute arbitrary code on the Jenkins master JVM
CVE-2018-1000865 High 2018-12-10 No exploit published No public exploit A sandbox bypass vulnerability exists in Script Security Plugin 1.47 and earlier in groovy-sandbox/src/main/java/org/kohsuke/groovy/sandbox/SandboxTransformer.java that allows attackers with Job/Configure permission to execute arbitrary code on the Jenkins master JVM, if plugins using the Groovy sandbox are installed.
CVE-2018-1000864 Medium 2018-12-10 No exploit published No public exploit A denial of service vulnerability exists in Jenkins 2.153 and earlier, LTS 2.138.3 and earlier in CronTab.java that allows attackers with Overall/Read permission to have a request handling thread enter an infinite loop.
CVE-2018-1000862 Medium 2018-12-10 No exploit published No public exploit An information exposure vulnerability exists in Jenkins 2.153 and earlier, LTS 2.138.3 and earlier in DirectoryBrowserSupport.java that allows attackers with the ability to control build output to browse the file system on agents running builds beyond the duration of the build using the workspace browser.
CVE-2018-14637 High 2018-11-30 No exploit published No public exploit The SAML broker consumer endpoint in Keycloak before version 4.6.0.Final ignores expiration conditions on SAML assertions. An attacker can exploit this vulnerability to perform a replay attack.
CVE-2018-11766 High 2018-11-27 No exploit published No public exploit In Apache Hadoop 2.7.4 to 2.7.6, the security fix for CVE-2016-6811 is incomplete. A user who can escalate to yarn user can possibly run arbitrary commands as root user.
CVE-2018-15761 Critical 2018-11-19 No exploit published No public exploit Cloud Foundry UAA release, versions prior to v64.0, and UAA, versions prior to 4.23.0, contains a validation error which allows for privilege escalation. A remote authenticated user may modify the url and content of a consent page to gain a token with arbitrary scopes that escalates their privileges.
CVE-2018-17187 High 2018-11-13 No exploit published No public exploit The Apache Qpid Proton-J transport includes an optional wrapper layer to perform TLS, enabled by use of the 'transport.ssl(...)' methods. Unless a verification mode was explicitly configured, client and server modes previously defaulted as documented to not verifying a peer certificate, with options to configure this explicitly or select a certificate verification mode with or without hostname verification being performed. The latter hostname verifying mode was not implemented in Apache Qpid Proton-J versions 0.3 to 0.29.0, with attempts to use it resulting in an exception. This left only the option to verify the certificate is trusted, leaving such a client vulnerable to Man In The Middle (MITM) attack. Uses of the Proton-J protocol engine which do not utilise the optional transport TLS wrapper are not impacted, e.g. usage within Qpid JMS. Uses of Proton-J utilising the optional transport TLS wrapper layer that wish to enable hostname verification must be upgraded to version 0.30.0 or later and utilise the VerifyMode#VERIFY_PEER_NAME configuration, which is now the default for client mode usage unless configured otherwise.
CVE-2018-15795 High 2018-11-13 No exploit published No public exploit Pivotal CredHub Service Broker, versions prior to 1.1.0, uses a guessable form of random number generation in creating service broker's UAA client. A remote malicious user may guess the client secret and obtain or modify credentials for users of the CredHub Service.
CVE-2018-14658 Medium 2018-11-13 No exploit published No public exploit A flaw was found in JBOSS Keycloak 3.2.1.Final. The Redirect URL for both Login and Logout are not normalized in org.keycloak.protocol.oidc.utils.RedirectUtils before the redirect url is verified. This can lead to an Open Redirection attack
CVE-2018-14657 High 2018-11-13 No exploit published No public exploit A flaw was found in Keycloak 4.2.1.Final, 4.3.0.Final. When TOPT enabled, an improper implementation of the Brute Force detection algorithm will not enforce its protection measures.
CVE-2018-14655 Medium 2018-11-13 No exploit published No public exploit A flaw was found in Keycloak 3.4.3.Final, 4.0.0.Beta2, 4.3.0.Final. When using 'response_mode=form_post' it is possible to inject arbitrary Javascript-Code via the 'state'-parameter in the authentication URL. This allows an XSS-Attack upon succesfully login.
CVE-2018-1314 Medium 2018-11-08 No exploit published No public exploit In Apache Hive 2.3.3, 3.1.0 and earlier, Hive "EXPLAIN" operation does not check for necessary authorization of involved entities in a query. An unauthorized user can do "EXPLAIN" on arbitrary table or view and expose table metadata and statistics.
CVE-2018-11777 High 2018-11-08 No exploit published No public exploit In Apache Hive 2.3.3, 3.1.0 and earlier, local resources on HiveServer2 machines are not properly protected against malicious user if ranger, sentry or sql standard authorizer is not in use.
CVE-2018-17184 Medium 2018-11-06 No exploit published No public exploit A malicious user with enough administration entitlements can inject html-like elements containing JavaScript statements into Connector names, Report names, AnyTypeClass keys and Policy descriptions. When another user with enough administration entitlements edits one of the Entities above via Admin Console, the injected JavaScript code is executed.
CVE-2018-18854 High 2018-10-31 No exploit published No public exploit Lightbend Spray spray-json through 1.3.4 allows remote attackers to cause a denial of service (resource consumption) because of Algorithmic Complexity during the parsing of many JSON object fields (with keys that have the same hash code).
CVE-2018-18853 High 2018-10-31 No exploit published No public exploit Lightbend Spray spray-json through 1.3.4 allows remote attackers to cause a denial of service (resource consumption) because of Algorithmic Complexity during the parsing of a field composed of many decimal digits.
CVE-2018-18830 Critical 2018-10-30 No exploit published No public exploit An issue was discovered in com\mingsoft\basic\action\web\FileAction.java in MCMS 4.6.5. Since the upload interface does not verify the user login status, you can use this interface to upload files without setting a cookie. First, start an upload of JSP code with a .png filename, and then intercept the data packet. In the name parameter, change the suffix to jsp. In the response, the server returns the storage path of the file, which can be accessed to execute arbitrary JSP code.
CVE-2018-11804 High 2018-10-24 No exploit published No public exploit Spark's Apache Maven-based build includes a convenience script, 'build/mvn', that downloads and runs a zinc server to speed up compilation. It has been included in release branches since 1.3.x, up to and including master. This server will accept connections from external hosts by default. A specially-crafted request to the zinc server could cause it to reveal information in files readable to the developer account running the build. Note that this issue does not affect end users of Spark, only developers building Spark from source code.
CVE-2018-18531 Critical 2018-10-19 No exploit published No public exploit text/impl/DefaultTextCreator.java, text/impl/ChineseTextProducer.java, and text/impl/FiveLetterFirstNameTextCreator.java in kaptcha 2.3.2 use the Random (rather than SecureRandom) function for generating CAPTCHA values, which makes it easier for remote attackers to bypass intended access restrictions via a brute-force approach.
CVE-2018-15758 Critical 2018-10-18 No exploit published No public exploit Spring Security OAuth, versions 2.3 prior to 2.3.4, and 2.2 prior to 2.2.3, and 2.1 prior to 2.1.3, and 2.0 prior to 2.0.16, and older unsupported versions could be susceptible to a privilege escalation under certain conditions. A malicious user or attacker can craft a request to the approval endpoint that can modify the previously saved authorization request and lead to a privilege escalation on the subsequent approval. This scenario can happen if the application is configured to use a custom approval endpoint that declares AuthorizationRequest as a controller method argument. This vulnerability exposes applications that meet all of the following requirements: Act in the role of an Authorization Server (e.g. @EnableAuthorizationServer) and use a custom Approval Endpoint that declares AuthorizationRequest as a controller method argument. This vulnerability does not expose applications that: Act in the role of an Authorization Server and use the default Approval Endpoint, act in the role of a Resource Server only (e.g. @EnableResourceServer), act in the role of a Client only (e.g. @EnableOAuthClient).
CVE-2018-18389 Critical 2018-10-16 No exploit published No public exploit Due to incorrect access control in Neo4j Enterprise Database Server 3.4.x before 3.4.9, the setting of LDAP for authentication with STARTTLS, and System Account for authorization, allows an attacker to log into the server by sending any valid username with an arbitrary password.
CVE-2018-12541 Medium 2018-10-10 No exploit published No public exploit In version from 3.0.0 to 3.5.3 of Eclipse Vert.x, the WebSocket HTTP upgrade implementation buffers the full http request before doing the handshake, holding the entire request body in memory. There should be a reasonnable limit (8192 bytes) above which the WebSocket gets an HTTP response with the 413 status code and the connection gets closed.
CVE-2018-11797 Medium 2018-10-05 No exploit published No public exploit In Apache PDFBox 1.8.0 to 1.8.15 and 2.0.0RC1 to 2.0.11, a carefully crafted PDF file can trigger an extremely long running computation when parsing the page tree.
CVE-2018-11778 High 2018-10-05 No exploit published No public exploit UnixAuthenticationService in Apache Ranger 1.2.0 was updated to correctly handle user input to avoid Stack-based buffer overflow. Versions prior to 1.2.0 should be upgraded to 1.2.0
CVE-2018-16277 Medium 2018-09-28 No exploit published No public exploit The Image Import function in XWiki through 10.7 has XSS.
CVE-2018-17366 High 2018-09-23 No exploit published No public exploit An issue was discovered in MCMS 4.6.5. There is a CSRF vulnerability that can add an administrator account via ms/basic/manager/save.do.
CVE-2018-8023 Medium 2018-09-21 No exploit published No public exploit Apache Mesos can be configured to require authentication to call the Executor HTTP API using JSON Web Token (JWT). In Apache Mesos versions pre-1.4.2, 1.5.0, 1.5.1, 1.6.0 the comparison of the generated HMAC value against the provided signature in the JWT implementation used is vulnerable to a timing attack because instead of a constant-time string comparison routine a standard `==` operator has been used. A malicious actor can therefore abuse the timing difference of when the JWT validation function returns to reveal the correct HMAC value.
CVE-2018-8017 Medium 2018-09-19 No exploit published No public exploit In Apache Tika 1.2 to 1.18, a carefully crafted file can trigger an infinite loop in the IptcAnpaParser.
CVE-2018-3831 High 2018-09-19 No exploit published No public exploit Elasticsearch Alerting and Monitoring in versions before 6.4.1 or 5.6.12 have an information disclosure issue when secrets are configured via the API. The Elasticsearch _cluster/settings API, when queried, could leak sensitive configuration information such as passwords, tokens, or usernames. This could allow an authenticated Elasticsearch user to improperly view these details.
CVE-2018-3824 Medium 2018-09-19 No exploit published No public exploit X-Pack Machine Learning versions before 6.2.4 and 5.6.9 had a cross-site scripting (XSS) vulnerability. If an attacker is able to inject data into an index that has a ML job running against it, then when another user views the results of the ML job it could allow the attacker to obtain sensitive information from or perform destructive actions on behalf of that other ML user.
CVE-2018-14642 Medium 2018-09-18 No exploit published No public exploit An information leak vulnerability was found in Undertow. If all headers are not written out in the first write() call then the code that handles flushing the buffer will always write out the full contents of the writevBuffer buffer, which may contain data from previous requests.
CVE-2018-11787 High 2018-09-18 No exploit published No public exploit In Apache Karaf version prior to 3.0.9, 4.0.9, 4.1.1, when the webconsole feature is installed in Karaf, it is available at .../system/console and requires authentication to access it. One part of the console is a Gogo shell/console that gives access to the command line console of Karaf via a Web browser, and when navigated to it is available at .../system/console/gogo. Trying to go directly to that URL does require authentication. And optional bundle that some applications use is the Pax Web Extender Whiteboard, it is part of the pax-war feature and perhaps others. When it is installed, the Gogo console becomes available at another URL .../gogo/, and that URL is not secured giving access to the Karaf console to unauthenticated users. A mitigation for the issue is to manually stop/uninstall Gogo plugin bundle that is installed with the webconsole feature, although of course this removes the console from the .../system/console application, not only from the unauthenticated endpoint. One could also stop/uninstall the Pax Web Extender Whiteboard, but other components/applications may require it and so their functionality would be reduced/compromised.
CVE-2018-11786 High 2018-09-18 No exploit published No public exploit In Apache Karaf prior to 4.2.0 release, if the sshd service in Karaf is left on so an administrator can manage the running instance, any user with rights to the Karaf console can pivot and read/write any file on the file system to which the Karaf process user has access. This can be locked down a bit by using chroot to change the root directory to protect files outside of the Karaf install directory; it can be further locked down by defining a security manager policy that limits file system access to those directories beneath the Karaf home that are necessary for the system to run. However, this still allows anyone with ssh access to the Karaf process to read and write a large number of files as the Karaf process user.
CVE-2018-11087 Medium 2018-09-14 No exploit published No public exploit Pivotal Spring AMQP, 1.x versions prior to 1.7.10 and 2.x versions prior to 2.0.6, expose a man-in-the-middle vulnerability due to lack of hostname validation. A malicious user that has the ability to intercept traffic would be able to view data in transit.
CVE-2018-1330 High 2018-09-13 No exploit published No public exploit When parsing a malformed JSON payload, libprocess in Apache Mesos versions 1.4.0 to 1.5.0 might crash due to an uncaught exception. Parsing chunked HTTP requests with trailers can lead to a libprocess crash too because of the mistakenly planted assertion. A malicious actor can therefore cause a denial of service of Mesos masters rendering the Mesos-controlled cluster inoperable.
CVE-2018-1114 Medium 2018-09-11 No exploit published No public exploit It was found that URLResource.getLastModified() in Undertow closes the file descriptors only when they are finalized which can cause file descriptors to exhaust. This leads to a file handler leak.
CVE-2018-11775 High 2018-09-10 No exploit published No public exploit TLS hostname verification when using the Apache ActiveMQ Client before 5.15.6 was missing which could make the client vulnerable to a MITM attack between a Java application using the ActiveMQ client and the ActiveMQ server. This is now enabled by default.
CVE-2016-7061 Medium 2018-09-10 No exploit published No public exploit An information disclosure vulnerability was found in JBoss Enterprise Application Platform before 7.0.4. It was discovered that when configuring RBAC and marking information as sensitive, users with a Monitor role are able to view the sensitive information.
CVE-2018-1000665 Medium 2018-09-06 No exploit published No public exploit Dojo Dojo Objective Harness (DOH) version prior to version 1.14 contains a Cross Site Scripting (XSS) vulnerability in unit.html and testsDOH/_base/loader/i18n-exhaustive/i18n-test/unit.html and testsDOH/_base/i18nExhaustive.js in the DOH that can result in Victim attacked through their browser - deliver malware, steal HTTP cookies, bypass CORS trust. This attack appear to be exploitable via Victims are typically lured to a web site under the attacker's control; the XSS vulnerability on the target domain is silently exploited without the victim's knowledge. This vulnerability appears to have been fixed in 1.14.
CVE-2018-16131 High 2018-08-30 No exploit published No public exploit The decodeRequest and decodeRequestWith directives in Lightbend Akka HTTP 10.1.x through 10.1.4 and 10.0.x through 10.0.13 allow remote attackers to cause a denial of service (memory consumption and daemon crash) via a ZIP bomb.
CVE-2018-16115 Critical 2018-08-29 No exploit published No public exploit Lightbend Akka 2.5.x before 2.5.16 allows message disclosure and modification because of an RNG error. A random number generator is used in Akka Remoting for TLS (both classic and Artery Remoting). Akka allows configuration of custom random number generators. For historical reasons, Akka included the AES128CounterSecureRNG and AES256CounterSecureRNG random number generators. The implementations had a bug that caused the generated numbers to be repeated after only a few bytes. The custom RNG implementations were not configured by default but examples in the documentation showed (and therefore implicitly recommended) using the custom ones. This can be used by an attacker to compromise the communication if these random number generators are enabled in configuration. It would be possible to eavesdrop, replay, or modify the messages sent with Akka Remoting/Cluster.
CVE-2018-8028 High 2018-08-23 No exploit published No public exploit An authenticated user can execute ALTER TABLE EXCHANGE PARTITIONS without being authorized by Apache Sentry before 2.0.1. This can allow an attacker unauthorized access to the partitioned data of a Sentry protected table and can allow an attacker to remove data from a Sentry protected table.
CVE-2018-1999047 Medium 2018-08-23 No exploit published No public exploit A improper authorization vulnerability exists in Jenkins 2.137 and earlier, 2.121.2 and earlier in UpdateCenter.java that allows attackers to cancel a Jenkins restart scheduled through the update center.
CVE-2018-1999046 Medium 2018-08-23 No exploit published No public exploit A exposure of sensitive information vulnerability exists in Jenkins 2.137 and earlier, 2.121.2 and earlier in Computer.java that allows attackers With Overall/Read permission to access the connection log for any agent.
CVE-2018-1999045 Medium 2018-08-23 No exploit published No public exploit A improper authentication vulnerability exists in Jenkins 2.137 and earlier, 2.121.2 and earlier in SecurityRealm.java, TokenBasedRememberMeServices2.java that allows attackers with a valid cookie to remain logged in even if that feature is disabled.
CVE-2018-1999044 Medium 2018-08-23 No exploit published No public exploit A denial of service vulnerability exists in Jenkins 2.137 and earlier, 2.121.2 and earlier in CronTab.java that allows attackers with Overall/Read permission to have a request handling thread enter an infinite loop.
CVE-2018-1999043 High 2018-08-23 No exploit published No public exploit A denial of service vulnerability exists in Jenkins 2.137 and earlier, 2.121.2 and earlier in BasicAuthenticationFilter.java, BasicHeaderApiTokenAuthenticator.java that allows attackers to create ephemeral in-memory user records by attempting to log in using invalid credentials.
CVE-2018-10873 High 2018-08-17 No exploit published No public exploit A vulnerability was discovered in SPICE before version 0.14.1 where the generated code used for demarshalling messages lacked sufficient bounds checks. A malicious client or server, after authentication, could send specially crafted messages to its peer which would result in a crash or, potentially, other impacts.
CVE-2018-12537 Medium 2018-08-14 No exploit published No public exploit In Eclipse Vert.x version 3.0 to 3.5.1, the HttpServer response headers and HttpClient request headers do not filter carriage return and line feed characters from the header value. This allow unfiltered values to inject a new header in the client request or server response.
CVE-2018-11770 Medium 2018-08-13 No exploit published Forecast only From version 1.3.0 onward, Apache Spark's standalone master exposes a REST API for job submission, in addition to the submission mechanism used by spark-submit. In standalone, the config property 'spark.authenticate.secret' establishes a shared secret for authenticating requests to submit jobs via spark-submit. However, the REST API does not use this or any other authentication mechanism, and this is not adequately documented. In this case, a user would be able to run a driver program without authenticating, but not launch executors, using the REST API. This REST API is also used by Mesos, when set up to run in cluster mode (i.e., when also running MesosClusterDispatcher), for job submission. Future versions of Spark will improve documentation on these points, and prohibit setting 'spark.authenticate.secret' when running the REST APIs, to make this clear. Future versions will also disable the REST API by default in the standalone master by changing the default value of 'spark.master.rest.enabled' to 'false'.
CVE-2017-2654 Medium 2018-08-06 No exploit published No public exploit jenkins-email-ext before version 2.57.1 is vulnerable to an Information Exposure. The Email Extension Plugins is able to send emails to a dynamically created list of users based on the changelogs, like authors of SCM changes since the last successful build. This could in some cases result in emails being sent to people who have no user account in Jenkins, and in rare cases even people who were not involved in whatever project was being built, due to some mapping based on the local-part of email addresses.
CVE-2018-8037 Medium 2018-08-02 No exploit published No public exploit If an async request was completed by the application at the same time as the container triggered the async timeout, a race condition existed that could result in a user seeing a response intended for a different user.
